Using iPad to Support Pupil Understanding in Mathematics - Dr Brian Brooks, Millfield

Enhance pupils’ opportunity to develop a deep insight into the material of the mathematics curriculum with iPad. Teaching for understanding is a more demanding proposition than teaching for skills or even for exam grades, but the ease of creating resources on and for the iPad in a variety of media, which are then available to pupils both in and out of the classroom, makes it a powerful tool to support this crucial aspect of our practice.
