Create a Collaged Poster Inspired by the Mills Archive
Join Jelly’s artists for a vibrant, hands-on workshop combining neon-bright papers, bold silhouettes, and hand-carved stamp prints.
We’ll start by exploring items from the Mills Archive Trust’s collection, taking inspiration from its historical architecture, shapes, and textures.
Guided by our artists, you’ll experiment with collaged patterns, layered colours, and block-print techniques to design your own one-of-a-kind poster
Perfect for adults and children of ages. Younger children (under 6 years) will need help from an adult to take part in this workshop.
We will be located in the Garden Hall within the garden's of Watlington House.
You can drop in anytime between 11.30am and 1.15pm. Registering your interest in this workshop does not guarantee a space at the craft table when you arrive. This is a drop in workshop and there may be a short wait at the craft table at busy times.
Our workshops and events are subsidised and in most cases we are able to offer our workshops for a nominal fee. If you are able we have an option to donate. All donations help us to continue our work to make space for art for everyone every day.

Frequently asked questions:
We are a small team working behind the scenes answering your questions. If you email us via eventbrite or via our website we will answer as soon as we can.
Where are you based?
This workshop is taking place at Watlington House in the Garden Hall. The hall is located within the gardens behind the house.
Be sure to check the address on your ticket.
Our home is located within Broad St Mall. You can find us on the first floor. We are the last unit before the toilets and exit to the carpark. If you get lost please ask any Broad St Mall security guard and they will direct you.
If I cannot make my paid workshop, can I transfer my ticket to another event or get a refund?
This is a free workshop. Registering your interest in this event helps to prepare art materials and anticipate numbers. If you can no longer make it please return your ticket. We do not offer refunds.
Our free community workshops and festival workshops are often made possible due to funding by the organisers. These workshops are popular and run at capacity. If you have selected a free ticket and are no longer able to attend please return your ticket so it is able to go to people on our waiting list. At busy times there may be a short wait at the workshop table and make sure you allow plenty of time to join us
As a charity we rely on donations and ticket sales to pay our artists and models. We always keep ticket costs to a minimum and when possible offer a limited number of tickets as a ‘pay what you can’ and a donation option if you are able to pay more.

Can I arrive early?
To allow ample time for our workshop host to prepare the space and set everything up, we kindly request that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows us to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure everything is ready for your arrival.
If you're curious about the space or would like to introduce your children to the workshop environment beforehand, we're more than happy to accommodate your request.
