We are thrilled to welcome you back to Mills Observatory for the 2025/26 winter season. From 1st October the Observatory will be open six nights a week, and this year we’re especially excited to be celebrating a very special milestone - the 90th anniversary of Mills Observatory.
From 1st - 10th October you can book a free slot to step inside the Observatory’s historic dome, giving you the opportunity to peer through our powerful telescopes to spot distant stars and planets, or admire the breathtaking scenery with some spectacular treetop vistas across the silvery Tay.
So book your free space now and join us in celebrating 90 stellar years of stargazing at Mills Observatory.
Please Note - night sky viewing is weather dependant, we need a dry evening with clear skies to open our dome and use the telescopes.
Tickets must be booked for each person. Ticket allows you half an hour in the Dome. Please arrive at the bottom of the stairs of the dome five minutes before the entry time.
If you are late, you may find that your place has been given to someone on the waiting list.
