This is a great family day out!!!

Come and cheer on our 'Minced Pie Chomping Champions' and help raise money AND awareness for black mental health issues! 

Come and meet Santa at his grotto, try out the special BBQ Shack menu, win treats and witness the crowning of the very first Afrwecan's Minced Pie Eating Champion!

If you think you have what it takes and would like to get sponsored to compete for the amazing cause and WIN £100 to do last minute shopping for prezzies or treat yourself, email us to enter at afrwecan@gmail.com. Any age can compete for some great prizes!!

Either way, show your support and begin your Xmas weekend with us... Have a sing song with the carollers and let us get you and the family into the festive spirit!

Please sure to check out the amazingly yummy venue, The BBQ Shack who has offered us their venue for this amazing cause. Their menu will have you drooling and be sure to try the famous "cautionary extreme hot sauce" at www.facebook.com/thebbqshack

You might even get a minced pie to take home :)

Afrwecan Black Mental Health Charity

Our vision is to inspire the Afro-Caribbean community to develop their full potential towards positive change in mental health.

We want to become one of the leading providers of mental health services for over-represented Black community. We aim to provide excellent mental health care to our service users through the quality, range and cost-effectiveness of the services we provide. 

Our mission is to educate and promote physical and mental well-being among the Afro-Caribbean community. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. 

We will create and maintain a reputation for providing excellent, culturally relevant focused care across an encompassing range of mental health services. We expect to be the leading provider and specialist in Black mental health as well as aim to be amongst the best across the full range of services we provide.
