About this event
This is a workshop focus group session for people who access peer support within your community. This might be as part of a small group or one-to-one. When we say ‘peer support’ we mean anytime people with a shared experience come together to support each other, for the benefit of their mental health. The experience you share doesn’t have to be a mental health difficulty, it may be any part of your experience or identity such as; age, sexuality, cultural background, a specific interest, or something else you have in common. This can take place in groups, 1to1, or online.
This session will last between ninety minutes and two hours and will be held over Zoom. The session will be structured around a series of themes and questions with quite a bit of open discussion some group work using Jamboard. The aim is to capture the essential experiences, thoughts and opinions of those who access peer support.
There will be a £25 payment or voucher available for any who attend.
