This five week course is suitable for both those new to meditation and to those wanting to explore their practice further.

About this event

How often do you feel you need more space in your life? Perhaps you are feeling constricted by lockdown, screens, walls, people, noise or by your very own body, emotions and thought processes.

It turns out, with a shift of attention, spaciousness is available in each and every moment. Through a series of experiential meditation inquiry this short course will invite you to notice the qualities of spaciousness available in each moment - within your body, breath, emotions and thoughts, as well as in the world around you. You’ll notice what happens when you pay attention to the qualities of spaciousness as a portal into awareness of the present moment. You’ll be challenged to take a sensibility to spaciousness into the midst of everyday life.

The five week course is suitable for both those new to meditation and to those wanting to explore their practice further. Each session will involve a short arrival meditation, some reflections on the focus of the week, a longer meditation and opportunity to share experience for those who want to (some people will be very welcome to stay in silence)

There is no charge for this course, however if you are in a position to do so please contribute to Medecins Sans Frontieres My suggestion would be £45.

  • Monday mornings 7.00 am – 7.45 am BST: Starts Monday 19th of April – Monday 24th May (not including 3rd of May which is Bank Holiday)

About Will

Will first began meditating as a student over 25 years ago, learning mindfulness and loving kindness meditations. After a long gap, and revitalised by yoga practices, Will came back to meditation as an important practice to both navigate and celebrate all that life offers. As a professional life coach his passion is in enabling people to feel fully alive and at peace - while also of course trying to do that himself! He is a Certified iRest teacher.
