“Are you interested in finding out more about your mental health?
Do you enjoy learning new things in a fun and interactive way?
Then the Open Minds workshop might be what you’re looking for!
Open Minds provide mental health awareness workshops in schools and community organisations across Calderdale. We have been chosen by people who use King Cross surgery to deliver a workshop around how to look after your mental health, noticing early warning signs and triggers that may affect your mental health and overall wellbeing. The workshop is delivered by a Healthy Minds worker and volunteer.”
“Insight healthcare provides free Talking therapies on behalf of the NHS and is available to anyone who is aged 18 or over and registered with a Calderdale GP.
Everyone goes through difficult times; sometimes our problems affect our day-to day-lives and we feel like we can’t cope. If you are in this situation, you are not alone. This workshop will provide you with strategies to manage stress, anxiety and low mood as well as help you to understand what the symptoms of low mood and anxiety look like, and how to cope with them.
You can get involved and ask questions or you can sit back and just listen and at the end of the workshop we will be available for any individual questions you may have.”
