This in-person yoga group is a closed group with attendance open to individuals bereaved by suicide regardless of their relationship to their loved one and no matter how long ago.
- Losing someone to suicide has a huge impact on our mental and physical heath.
- Yoga practice can support our minds and bodies as we learn how to live in our changed selves.
- Sessions run weekly by a qualified yoga teacher who is Yoga Alliance registered.
- The teacher has lived experience of bereavement by suicide and offers her sessions for free to others impacted by suicide loss.
- The facilitator is a qualified to teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and is currently taking additional qualifications with YogaMedicine in Yoga for Mental Health and Wellbeing.
- This is a ticketed class and any funds pay for the studio hire only.
- Participants are welcome to buy a ticket for the amount they can afford.
The group provides an opportunity to connect with others whom have also experienced this unique bereavement and to meet in a safe place to enhance your overall well-being.
Our skilled instructor will guide you through a series of gentle trauma informed yoga poses, focusing on the mind-body connection and promoting inner peace and calm. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this group is open to all levels.
