Mindful Ageing BootCamps: Mindfulness and Healthy Living

About this event
The Mindful Ageing Boot Camps are aimed at adults aged 50+, including retired people and those coming up to retirement who want to enjoy an active and mindful older age. The aim is to combat feelings of isolation and negative attitudes towards ageing by offering a three day training programme designed to improve mental wellbeing, build resilience and develop a positive attitude towards ageing!
The Boot Camps will introduce you to the concept of Mindfulness and the fantastic benefits that come from adopting Mindfulness into your day to day life. This will be an interactive and supportive programme, to encourage peer support and combat negative emotions and attitudes.
Throughout the Boot Camps you will explore themes and exercises based on:
- The mind, body and wellness
- Mindfulness and meditation
- Positive Psychology and mental wellbeing
- Neuro Linguistic Programming
- Nutrition and exercise
At the end of the Boot Camps, you will have the opportunity to continue with your Mindfulness journey and enter into our Support Groups- a mentoring and coaching programme centred around peer support and setting achievable goals to improve your mental and physical well being.
Dates: 19th, 20th and 21st of May (If you cannot attend all 3 days, you can also join 1 or 2 days.)
Times: 10am- 3pm. (This will include an hour lunch break)
