Mindful Dining- Sunday Lunch Dining & Sharing Journeys session

ANKH Place CIC Mindful Dining Food Club monthly sessions:

Sunday 29th June 2025, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as wellbeing and enrichment activities.

This month we have on offer a hot meal 1pm to 1.45pm, followed by a community conversation about food and schools, ending with a sketching art session at 3pm, led by Mide.

ANKH Place CIC are working with a collective of charities and social enterprises in Newham towards good quality meals for all children in Newham.

The first step is to meet with others by joining our Listening Event.

Entry, refreshements and participation is free.

A hot meal from our Food Club is £1.00 per person.

Sunday 14th September, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as us celebrating the 'Mayor's Community Festival'. We will have music, interactive stalls and refreshents.

Sunday 28th September, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as ‘Make a Macrame Keychain’ workshop led by Jeanne Francine and group yoga, beathwork and massage techniques.

Sunday 26th October 2025, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as wellbeing and enrichment activities.

This month we have on offer a hot meal 1pm to 1.30pm, followed by a session dedicated to Women's Wisdom and Community Magic led by Veronica Rowlands! A simple “Lanterns of Wisdom” activity using recycled bottles, jars or bits of packaging and collage them into light vessels. Each one can honour a woman who’s guided or inspired us, and people can also write something inside they’d like to release. Together they’ll hang as a little community altar of light. Participants are encouraged to bring along an old bottle or piece of packaging to transform.

Sunday 30th November 2025, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as wellbeing and enrichment activities.

This month we have on offer a hot meal 1pm to 1.45pm, followed by an enrichment activity of Collage by Duane Paul at 1.45pm and then nail art by Shareen Akhtar at 2.45pm.

Entry, refreshements and participation is free.

A hot meal from our Food Club is £1.00 per person.

Sunday 28th December 2025, 1pm to 4pm will provide a hot meal and drink, as well as wellbeing and enrichment activities at The Crystxl Lounge, 339 Barking Road, E6 1LA.

This month we have on offer an end of Year Celebration, dancing and hot festive meal from 1pm.
