Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything, or wear anything in particular?

We will supply all the necessary equipment for activities. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing that is suitable for gardening.

I can't make the session anymore. What should I do?

Please cancel your spot by emailing community@paradisecooperative.org or WhatsApp at 07772664759! This ensures that another community member can join in your place. We hope you'll be able to find another date to join us.

I am allergic to bees, what should I do?

We have a small apiary on site so we advise anyone attending with a known bee allergy or risk of an allergic reaction to bring their medication with them. We do not keep epi-pens on site and our staff are not liable to administer them because it is a prescribed medication.

Can I come as a corporate volunteer?

We host a Corporate Volunteer package, which is a paid-for service supporting our community work at the garden. If you are looking for Corporate Volunteer opportunities, please email team@paradisecooperative.org. This volunteer session is not suitable for corporate volunteering.

Can you accomadate large groups?

This is a small volunteer session aimed at improving wellbeing and tackling social isolation. For groups larger than 3 wanting to volunteer, please email Eve at community@paradisecooperative.org.

Is this family friendly?

Unfortuantly no, our Mindful Growing sessions are for 18's and over only. For family friendly sessions, please see our other events and sessions on our Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/the-paradise-co-operative-15420030887
