Would you like to discover more peace, calm and happiness in every day?

Each week we will focus on a different aspect of mindful living, and practice at least one guided meditation.

We welcome complete beginners, people of all faiths or none, and anyone wishing to deepen or develop a daily mindfulness practice.

Sessions will be led by Katie Sheen of Soul Nutrition, a qualified teacher who has been practising mindfulness in her own life for over 16 years and studies in the tradition of Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

There is no need to book all the sessions, as each week is a stand alone class so feel free to attend as many as you are able. Each class will include:

  • one 20 minutes guided seated meditation, plus on some weeks we can explore a more extended mindfulness practice such as a full body scan style meditation or a walking meditation (outside if it's a nice evening)

  • one group activity based on an aspect of mindful living such as: coming back to the breath, handling difficult emotions, making a mindful cup of tea, practising mindful eating, playing gratitude games. This can be led by what you are finding challenging in your own practice - so for example an exchange of “top tips” about how to enjoy a formal seated practice each day.

  • We’ll be meeting around a table so you can easily draw & write if you’d like to, but this isn’t an art based class
