Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my kid to participate with me?

The workshop is for age 12+ because we use a compass with a sharp end. However, if your kid is 10 and confident using a compass, protractor and a ruler you they can also participate in the workshop.

What if I have never drawn a mandala?

Please do not worry - the workshop is for beginners too. We will also have a pre prepared circles template just in case...

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your openness and a smile :). We will use paper, ruler, compass, protractor, pencil and fine-liner. All will be supplied but of course if you are more comfortable using your own equipment, please bring it with you.

Can I come earlier to see the garden and sit in the cafe?

Of course! Our friendly community cafe offers barista coffee, food and cakes (all made in house). Recommended! Our garden is a little piece of paradise, in the mids of town and there are also plants for sale.

Where can I park?

You can part on the adjacent roads. Do be aware to the local parking regulations! If you cannot find a free parking space on Claremont road, turn into Cotswold Gardens and look for parking near the Purbeck Drive entrance to the playing fields. Then walk to the cafe via the fields and enjoy yr walk:)
