Mindful Mandala Workshop (Public Engagement Event)

Mindful Mandala Workshop (Public Engagement Event)

By The Eating Disorders Health Integration Team

Overview

A relaxed arts-based event, for anyone affected by eating difficulties or eating disorders, including friends, family and supporters.

Open to anyone with lived experience of eating difficulties or eating disorders, who live within the Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and surrounding area. Friends, family and supporters of loved ones with eating difficulties are also encouraged.

Event content

A creative, art‑based community event, led by Sayambrita Mukherjee, Community Artist & Workshop Facilitator.

A gentle space to meet others and connect, whilst feeling supported among people who understand.

The event includes a Bharatnatyam dance performance by Chandini Sree, with a focus on lived experience of eating disorders in the South Asian community.

All materials provided, so you can simply come as you are.

Welfare

The space is designed to feel safe, inclusive, and comfortable for all. But we understand that social situations can at times become a bit overwhelming. We will have some quiet space available and also a member of our team on hand for one-to-one supportive conversations if required.

On the day

The event is being held on the 5th Floor, Arnolfini. Please go to the back of the Arnolfini building (not the main entrance), where there is a separate door, a member of our team will be there to meet you. A lift will take you to the 5th floor where another member of our team will welcome you to the event.
