In this class you will learn to craft an Ojo De Dios (eye of God), woven with yarn between wooden sticks in several colors. The weaving of an Ojo de Dios is an ancient contemplative and spiritual practice for many indigenous peoples in the Americas.
The practice of making an Ojo, is repetitive, grounding and medititve. Crafting one is an excellent tool to quiet your mind and re-connect with your inner self.
During this session you will learn to make one and experience a being part of a powerful circle of making and intention setting. We will embellish them with tassels, pom poms and feathers, ready to hang in your home or gift to a loved one.
You will be given everything you need to make an ojo, or as many as you wish to make. Light refreshments will also be provided.
