Mindful Me! Children's Mindfulness course 10-15 yrs

5 sessions in mindfulness and craft for children aged 10-15 developed to help children find calm.
Teens grow their emotional intelligence by learning our easy, fun mindful meditations, yoga as well as getting creative,making cool crafts to support their meditations..
Each session runs for 90 mins and focuses on an emotion such as anger, fear,or sadness. Children learn a series of meditations to help them focus on the present and manage the tricky stuff in life in a healthier, positive way. Craft is a great way for engaging children and we love getting creative making fun tools to help us with our meditations.
Parents/Carers are asked to pop in at the end of the session and learn some of the simple relaxing meditations from the class, so that you can encourage practice at home!
Mindfulness benefits your child in many ways: Improves focus and attention skills, strengthens mental and physical wellbeing, builds emotional resiliance, reduce stress and anxiety, improve communication and improve sleep patterns.
Mindful Me! makes mindfulness a fun wellbeing activity that teens enjoy and want to get involved in!
We welcome children with learning or emotional difficulties - but please do contact us before hand so we can ensure the class meets your needs.
We welcome newcomers to our course, as well as past students looking to top up their mindful practice.
Mindful Me! is part of Waves Mindfulness - a provider of mindful programmes to communitites, schools, corporations and institutions in the UK. The Mindful Me! program is created using MBCT and MBSR techniques but reworked to engage children and teens.
