Mindful Me! Teens and Seniors Mindfulness Course

4 sessions in mindfulness for our senior meditators and children aged 11 - 15.
Each session runs for 90 mins and focuses on giving older children a deeper experience of meditation and create a tool box of techniques to help manage the stresses of teenage life. The course covers techniques to help relax children and manage concerns over issues such as anger, anxiety, school life and exams.
Parents/Carers are asked to pop in at the end of the session and learn some of the simple relaxing meditations from the class, so that you can encourage practice at home!
Mindfulness benefits your child in many ways: Improve focus and attention skills, strengthen mental and physical wellbeing, builds emotional resiliance, reduce stress and anxiety, improve communication and improve sleep patterns.
Mindful Me! makes mindfulness a fun wellbeing activity that children enjoy and want to get involved in!
We welcome children with learning or emotional difficulties - but please do contact us before hand so we can ensure the class meets your needs.
We welcome newcomers to our course, as well as past students looking to deepen their mindful practice.
Mindful Me! is part of Waves Mindfulness - a provider of mindful programmes to communitites, schools, corporations and institutions in the UK. The Mindful Me! program is created using MBCT and MBSR techniques but reworked to engage children and teens.

2 years experience developing/running 'Mindful Me!, program in schools and comunity settings. Mindfulness Teacher Training in MBCT and MBRP. Youth Worker and Mental Heath First Aider. DBS checked.
Venue: The Studio, Chislehurst High St (above Prezzo). Limited parking outside, but car park is 10 yards across the road.
Dress: Please dress your child in comfortable cloithing, bring a small pillow and blanket as well as a drink for your child.
