Mindful Measures Seminar
Event Information
Description
Mindful Measures is a seminar which explores current measures for mindfulness evaluation within research and practice contexts, particularly mental and physical health. The seminar also discusses broader themes in relation to selecting outcome measures for practice evaluation, defining mindfulness, and adapting evaluation to specific client populations including older adults. The event closes with some reflections and questions on the day as well as discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of selecting evaluation tools for larger scale national evaluation.
We hope that this event will support mindfulness practitioners and/or researchers to carry out audit and research planning which is relevant to their current needs and areas of mindfulness interest.
This event is being held on an entirely not-for-profit basis in order to make the event affordable and accessible to a wide range of groups including health and social care workers and students and academics in higher education.
Further details are available at the seminar website.
