Mindful Meditation TASTER session

'managing stress and making changes'

You are invited to join a small group coming together to experience a FREE mindful meditation session on Thursday 8th February 2018, at the Croydon BME Forum, 56a Mitcham Road, Croydon, CR0 3RG, that provides a fantastic environment. To join in, just book the FREE event.

In this gathering we will share and experience:

  • An understanding of mindfulness meditation
  • Learning breathing technique for managing stress and anxiety
  • Learning how to meditate for relaxation

Mindful Meditation Workshop Course

'managing stress and making changes'

Background information

Many people need support to help them in stressful circumstances they encounter generally in personal life and at work. Overall, challenges are difficult to manage and increasingly so when current patterns have built up over time. Personal well-being is important to keeping safe and to help rebuild and enhance individual lives, the places people belong to and the well-being of others they encounter. Stress, anxiety and anger impair good judgement and personal safety when unmanaged, it is therefore important to learn relaxation techniques to manage and maintain health and well-being to balance health and to build a foundation on which individuals can identify issues, plan and step by step manage changes for the better.

Workshop course

This 8 week course supports your learning and experiencing, with others in a small group, how to manage stress and experience an opportunity for self discovery and provide a foundation on which to build a way to personally develop and change. The sessions provide an opportunity to learn how to use mindful meditation techniques to gain information on how to balance well-being, review decisions and behaviours.

The 8 workshops are useful to everyone who wants to manage stress, make behaviour and lifestyle changes.
