About the Walk: We would love you join us for a gentle and slow paced Mindful Memory Walk. We will incorportate stops around Tewkesbury High Street, Back of Avon River and local green spaces. We will look at some old photos of areas of Tewkesbury that have changed and visit a few local areas to compare them now to the photos then. When we are near nature we will spend time listening to outdoors sounds and practising mindful techniques together, that you can then try yourself on your own walks or with friends and family.
We will start and end at The Roses Theatre. This walk is 90 minutes.
Accessibility: We will walk to The River, via flat acces and dropped curbs. This walk is suitable for those in wheelchairs, buggies and who need to take occasional stops. We welcome all ages and abilities. If you are a carer supporting someone with Dementia or Learning Challenges we kindly ask that you stay with the person you are supporting to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
