About this event

A walk where like-minded people who care about people and the environment can come together to mindfully connect with nature and have heart-felt discussions.

This walk in the beautiful Surrey Hills invites you to take the time to slow down and reconnect with yourself, with others and with nature.

As part of the walk there will be a chance to explore a reflective question about what wisdom nature holds for us, along with a mindfulness activity to help us reconnect with the present moment and nature around us. As well as lots of time for conversation, pointing out birds or trees and a potential pub trip after.

For this walk, I'm delighted that we will be joined by John Blewett who has been working in ecology and conservation for about 20 years including much on Reigate hill. He shares "I have a passion for nature, although that is a term I don’t really like using, as it assumes it is something over there instead of something we are intrinsically connected to. I love to walk slowly amongst non human life and feel with all my senses and be in awe of what we are part of.” We will co-host the walk and invite a deeper connection with the natural world whilst we walk.

The walk will be around 3 hours, with a break included.

There's an option to head to the pub by the station after the walk if people want to carry on the conversation.

>> For those driving, you can park on Somers Road or Manor road and we will meet by the Coop at 10:00am.

>> For those getting the train from London - there is a 45 min train from London Victoria to Reigate station which is just opposite our meeting point.

Dogs are welcome to join the walk (please note there might be cows roaming freely where we are walking).

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring any water or snacks you would like.

Please register if you are planning to attend so I can contact you with any further details.
