At the heart of mindful parenting is a positive relationship between you and your child. Parenting can easily feel overwhelming in a world that is geared towards doing. Carving out time for our children at the end of a long day’s work can feel impossible and consequently many get stuck in a vicious cycle of guilt at not having given anyone or anything the attention we know is needed. When we become mindful of the level of attention we pay to our children our relationships will improve.
