ParkBathe is a green health project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of all people (especially who might not normally engage in 'wellness activities').
ParkBathe uses aspect of forest bathing, forest school and mindfulness and is simply walking slowly in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)
The 1 hr guided sessions consist of small groups (max 12 people) in Crystal Palace Park.
* We recommend wearing warm layers, socks and waterproofs as we walk slowly. We DO go out in the rain !
These sessions are offered free & we run walks in other local parks too - see the list here - https://linktr.ee/parkbathe
* We suggest you book up to 3 sessions so you gain the accumulative benefits and learn the techniques for yourself.
MEETING PLACE: We meet inside the park at the Sydenham Gate entrance a 10 min walk from the Thicket Rd car park & Information Centre. Currently the Sydenham Gate entrance is closed but you can access the park from The Vale entrance which is 80m further up. MAP LINK. or https://w3w.co/pushy.alert.neon
NB. A car parking charge has been introduced at Crystal Palace Park so please check noticeboards if you use one of the park car parks. Please use public transport where possible.
