Description

We've taken the traditional elements of triathlon: swimming, cycling & running and replaced them with our own, non-competitive version - walking, yoga & meditation. Tempted? Read on....

At 9am we will set off on a 45 minute walk along the tranquil River Thames, covering approx 5k. Fresh air, raised heart rate, great company and beautiful surroundings.

Back to our riverside bar for a herbal tea and freshen up - we call this the transition phase!

Then to the the yoga studio - a warm, peaceful haven with stunning views. Here you will immerse yourself in an hour's yoga flow, led by the wonderful Laura. Stretching, toning, breathing and taking advantage of muscles warmed up and activated from our walk to explore yoga poses.

Yoga will transition seamlessly into the final element of our triathlon, a guided meditation. For those who are new to the concept of meditation, this is a moment to be still and mindful and will leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed.

Laura is a Meditation & Mindfulness Practioner, accreditated by the British School of Meditation. She is also a Yoga Teacher and specialist in Indian Head Massage working extensively through Reading & Newbury area. "Personally I find great comfort, support, ease and joy through my meditation and yoga practice, .... supporting my health, work life balance, relationships and much more"

Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for walking & yoga. You will need suitable footwear for a country walk.

Mats & blocks are provided. This workshop is suitable for all levels, and no prior yoga experience is necessary.
