Studies show that being out in nature can restore a sense of calm and improve wellbeing. At this event, we will walk Langley Vale Wood and practice mindfulness techniques on our journey, taking time to reflect and build a practice that you can take with you anywhere.

Directions
From M25 junction 8 (north or southbound) take the A217 exit to Reigate. Continue on the A217 Brighton Road and follow the signs for Epsom Race Course.
Follow the B290 in Epsom and turn left onto Langley Vale Road. Continue onto Downs Road and turn left onto Headley Road.
The Langley Vale Wood car park entrance will be on your left.

Parking
Langley Vale Wood car park is a surfaced car park with over 70 spaces, including disabled parking and RolecEV charging for electric vehicles.
There is a charge at the car park. All funds go back into the maintenance of Langley Vale Wood.

Payment can be made using a contactless card via the payment machines onsite or through the RingGo app. Please note: the machines do not take cash. On arrival please allocate enough time for the event. The running time for this event is 2.5 hours. For this walk, we recommend paying for 4 hours of parking to allow for arrival and departure.
Facilities
There are no toilet facilities onsite. The nearest public toilets are in Ashtead on Woodfield Lane (KT21 1AT).

Access
Unfortunately, the route we have planned isn’t suitable for prams or people with mobility issues. If this means you’re unable to attend, but would like to, please get in touch and we can explore arranging an alternative route.
Know before you go
We take the opportunity to enjoy a cup of herbal tea at the end of this walk as we reflect on the session. If you'd like one, please bring a mug with you or if you'd prefer bring your own hot drink to enjoy. We ask all attendees to come prepared for the weather, this includes appropriate clothing, footwear, layers and water if needed. This walk will be cancelled if there is severe weather, please check your emails on the day before the walk.
