Be Better. Be Mindful.

This dynamic and practical 2-day workshop will introduce the concept and practical benefits of Mindfulness, often mistaken for meditation and self-awareness, in everyday working life and the management of your business. 

The workshop is a concentrated and accelerated format of the 8-week MBSR program which includes Mindful emailing, Mindful meeting, Mindful meditation and Mindful eating as well as advanced coaching techniques.   

The two sessions are inter-dependant, and combine complementary components and therefore attending both sessions will ensure maximum benefits. The workshop is limited to 15 participants, book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. May 9 & May 10, 14:00-17:00 on each day.

This transformative program has been developed by Dana Zelicha, an Organisational Psychologist, LSE Alumni and Fellow at the Psychology & Brain Research department at the IDC, specialising in Mindfulness workshops for managers worldwide. 

Organisations such as GOOGLE, the BRITISH PARLIAMENT and the US MARINES have been turning to Mindfulness with increasing frequency in the aim of enhancing the well-being and effectiveness of their workforce.

Mindfulness is also beginning to establish itself in the Education system through a program called 'Mindful Schools in the US', which has reached more than 200,000 students and educators in 43 countries so far, which further demonstrates just how important the teaching of Mindfulness is becoming to young people worldwide.

How can Mindfulness training help me?

1. CAREER DECISIONS - Our path to progress is not always linear. Decisions regarding our career are driven by logistical, rational and emotional factors which many times may clash and hinder clear thinking. Mindfulness training can help you untangle threads of overlapping thought, help quieten the noise, and listen to what lies beneath. Listen to yourself, and help others hear you. 

2. FOCUS & ATTENTION - With so many distractions inundating our daily lives and tasks to be completed simultaneously, our capacity for focused concentration is being constantly challenged. Mindfulness training helps drown out the noise and can significantly improve stretch attention spans, memory capacity and ability to focus.

3. STRESS & ANXIETY - Mindfulness has proven to decrease stress and anxiety levels, depression and addictive behaviors. Mindfulness training provides practical techniques that help remain calm, make deliberate decisions before acting and face problems head on.

4. WELL BEING & HAPPINESS - Mindfulness training has proven to maximize wellbeing and a sense of presence, emotional resilience, tolerance, empathy and importantly, self-compassion.
