Description

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 week programme (MBSR) is the best researched Mindfulness programme and was begun by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the late 1970's. It can help us deal more effectively with life's stresses enabling us to develop ways of taking a pause and responding to stressful life events rather than reacting impulsively and often making matters worse! As a result relationships can improve, our enjoyment of life is enhanced and we start to treat ourselves and others with more care and compassion.

The course starts at 7pm - 9.30pm on Wednesdays from 28th March for 8 weeks. There is also an all day retreat on Saturday 5th May.

The cost is £175 and includes 26 hours of guided meditation practice and teaching, the retreat day plus all course materials and email/telephone support between sessions.
