Mindfulness Course Open Evening & Meditation Taster Session

This Mindfulness course open evening give you the chance to learn more about the Science behind Mindfulness and have a go at meditations a group as well as discuss any questions that you may have.

It will be run by Ruth Farenga, Founder & Mindfulness Teacher & William James Davies, Mindfulness Teacher, Mindful Pathway.

We'll discuss research behind and impact of an 8 week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course for the general public. Full details of our upcoming courses are below.

Directions: if space, park in first carpark on right after you've driven down Oakland's long drive (otherwise park anywhere else) and go through the gate at the back of the small carpark and the Mansion House is right there.

Course Details - Autumn 2019: Daytime and Evening 8 Week Mindfulness Courses in St Albans

A practical 8 week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course will equip you with experiences and skills in meditation and mindful living in a relaxed and friendly environment.

When and where is the course itself?

Tuesday evening 7.30-9.30pm, starting Tuesday 8th October (Oaklands College, St Albans)
Or
Friday morning course 9.30am-11.30am starting Friday 11th October (The Oval, Hertfordshire University, College Lane, St Albans)

Who is this course for?

- beginners who are new to meditation

- more experienced individuals who want to further and maintain their practice.

What can Mindfulness offer?

Practising Mindfulness can bring a range of health and wellbeing benefits such as reduced stress, better emotional balance, improved sleep, improved relationships and better concentration.

Who will be teaching me?

Our teachers are fully qualified in their 2 year Diploma in Mindfulness teaching and two teachers will run this course. More details on our teachers are available here: www.mindfulpathway.co.uk/about-us

What is the ethos behind Mindful Pathway?

We're a social enteprise running courses for the general public and workplaces. Our public work is non-profit and we aim to support as many people as we can from different walks of life.

What's the commitment like?

Home practice is about 40 mins per day as we stick to a research-based approach so have a think if you can make space in your day for this.
