About this event
Mental wellbeing at work is determined by the interaction between the working environment, the nature of the work and the individual (NICE PH22). However, in the public sector, 72% of public sector employers reported an increase in mental health issues for staff last year, Health, Wellbeing & Mindfulness (Briefing Paper, the Mindfulness Initiative, 2019)
The NICE quality standard ‘Healthy workplaces: improving employee mental and physical health and wellbeing’ (QS147) recommends organisations and employers develop workplace solutions to reduce the risk of stress and identify when to provide additional support.
This 2 hour workshop offers activities and resources to help you :
Understand how regular Mindfulness practice can improve wellbeing, increase performance, reduce employee stress
Explore how Mindful solutions can help create a Mindful workspace environment (home working or office based)
Develop a Mindfulness self-care strategy to reduce risk and provide support to others.
