Description

This eight-session course is designed to help you learn new ways of handling whatever life throws at you more calmly, spaciously and creatively. Each weekly session will run from 10.00am until 12.00pm.

The core skill you will learn is Mindfulness a way of paying attention, on purpose and non-judgementally, to what goes on in the present moment in your body, mind, and the world around you.

Mindfulness can enable you to see things differently, undoing mental and physical knots and tensions, taking far beyond limiting habits and unhelpful 'programming'. It can increase your sense of personal confidence, of having more options and more strength to face the different challenges in your life.

Like any skill Mindfulness develops with practice over time. You will be asked to commit to about 20-40 home practice each day for the duration of the course, with the support of handouts and CDs provided. There will of course be plenty of time during our sessions to check in on progress and fine tune your approach.
