Description

We all lead busy and often stressful lives,

Stress anxiety and depression can creep up on us unaware. Our bodies start to show the physical signs of stress and anxiety in the form of headaches, muscle tension, tightness of the chest, the list goes on and on.

We seek medical interventions. Medications to reduce the headaches, tablets to make us sleep, tablets to make us feel better- but we are not tackling the real cause or symptoms. Our busy minds

OK so how do we calm our minds down?

We can calm our minds down by using Mindfulness, it really is that simple

Learn about mindfulness- What is mindfulness? How can you practice mindfulness ?

Learn about being in the here and now- being non-judgemental

learn to focus your mind to reduce stress and anxiety

Learn how to meditate- I will show you several ways to meditate

Learn about the different types of massage mediums and essential oils you can use to help relax and unwind you

Learn how to give a back and shoulder massage

Learn how to give an Indian head massage- to release tension and stress on the scalp

There will be a charge of £2.00 for each session payable on attendance


This workshop is run over a period of four weeks

week 1- What is mindfulness

week 2- Learn different meditation techniques

week 3- Massage mediums and Indian Head massage

week 4- Hw to give a Back and shoulder massage

Please note that this workshop is run over four weeks and the Tuesday workshop will be repeated again on the Thursday of that week
