Description
Living with greater self-compassion and mindful awareness has proven and multiple benefits for our emotional and physical health. This is a day dedicated to nourishing yourself and allowing yourself a break from the rush of everyday life. You will be learning how to be more mindful and kinder to yourself in daily life. You will also be taught practices for recognising your own needs and giving yourself permission to value your needs as equally as important as the needs of others.
This day is mainly held in silence, although there are opportnities for qestions and reflections. The practices are fully guided by Dr Leah Callebaut.
No prior experience or knowledge needed. Suitable for those who have already completed an 8-week MBSR/MBCT course, those who meditate regularly and would like to refresh their skills, and for beginners who would like to experience a day of mindfulness and compassion practice.
