What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of developing self-awareness of thoughts, emotions and body sensations, as they arise, so that we can learn to cope and respond more skilfully to whatever life throws at us - with less stress on the body.
What are the aims?
This lunchtime session is a great way to relax and you will learn techniques that you can use straight away at home or work to help reduce stress, increase focus and increase happiness. Sessions are engaging, relaxing and fun!
This is a standalone session, but if you're coming to the mental health awareness session in the morning this session would be a perfect fit to follow on, or if you're coming to the managers' awareness session in the afternoon you could try some mindfulness beforehand.
