About this event

Have you ever considered immersing yourself into the healing vibration of sound?

A sound meditation class, also known as a sound bath or gong bath, offers a meditative experience where you are bathed in sound waves. During this session, various sound healing instruments are played, including quartz crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and Tibetan singing bowls etc.

The session begins as soon as you enter the room with music tuned to 432hz, allowing you to settle down on your mat. A gentle guided meditation follows, helping you to relax and become open to receiving the healing frequencies of the various sound instruments that follow. Finally, a grounding meditation brings you back to full awareness, bringing the class to a close.

It is said that we resonate with sound, and every cell in our body vibrates at various frequencies. Sound has the potential to restore our vibration, bringing us back into balance. All you need to do is be present and allow the healing sounds to wash over you.

Bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket, and anything else you need to feel warm and cozy. Water is provided, and you can come alone or bring a friend. If you find it difficult to get up and down from a yoga mat, you can sit on chair during these sessions. Some people find it hard lying down for an hour on a yoga mat and it's important that you are comfortable. Do what's right for you.

You will receive a small mindfulness gift to take away, allowing you to continue your mindfulness practice at home.

So why not try something new and immerse yourself in the healing power of sound?

Arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts so you can snuggle down, get cosy and enjoy the full benefit of the session.

My sound meditation classes combine mindfulness meditation and sound. The sound healing instruments I use are tuned to specific frequencies that induce well-being. The instruments include: Tibetan singing bowls - Crystal singing bowls - Gongs - Wind chimes - Rain stick - Ocean drum - Flummi - Shruti box - Drum. I am always introducing new sounds. The various notes and tones correspond to each chakra, colour, body part, and much more. Your brain will automatically tune into the healing frequencies through the phenomena of brainwave entrainment and sympathetic resonance, deepening your meditation practice. The class always starts with a gentle guided mindfulness meditation to relax you. This opens you up to receiving the healing frequencies of the sound instruments that follow. The class always ends with a grounding meditation to bring you back into full awareness. Come on your own or bring a friend.
