Mindfulness Summer Sessions
Welcome to our Mindfulness Summer Sessions! Join us for this online event where you will be able to enjoy practicing some simple meditations. Make some time to relax, breathe and settle yourself. I will share a little about the benefits of mindfulness and provide you with simple, practical techniques to begin to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. Whether you're completely new to mindfulness or looking to rekindle your practice in a group setting, these sessions are perfect for all levels.
We will also be sharing details of our 6-week in person course which we will be hosting in September 2025. Join us and together we will begin to discover the power of living in the present moment.
Frequently asked questions
A laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet connection. We will be using Google Meet. Please wear comfortable clothing and settle yourself somewhere you won't be dist. We will only be doing seated practices during these sessions so no need for mats, blankets unless you prefer to lie down.
You will not HAVE to do anything. Our approach is very gentle and the key is that you keep yourself comfortable at all times. Many people practice mindfulness with their eyes open, just lowered to a soft gaze on the floor in front of them.
Yes I am a qualified mindfulness teacher with the organisation Mindfulness Now. I have run mindfulness taster workshops and longer courses in a large NHS hospital for patients and staff. I am also a qualified teacher.
Absolutely not. Whatever is comfortable for you. I would ask that you have the camera on as we begin and end the sessions if possible. It's nice to see friendly faces!
