Try out mindfulness in a friendly online space and discover how it can support wellbeing, compassion for effective change-making.

If you’re feeling stressed, burnt out or just looking for ways to cope better with work/home life and the current social & political climate, you might be curious about how mindfulness can help. Change in Mind offers mindfulness events for change-makers: people working and volunteering in the charity & social enterprise sector and people involved in activism for social and ecological justice. Come along to this friendly online group space to learn about how mindfulness can support you and hear about Change in Mind’s unique approach to wellbeing and compassion for social change.

At the session you will:

  • Learn about mindfulness and it’s relevance for the demands of change-making
  • Try a short guided meditation
  • Learn simple practices to incorporate into your daily life
  • Be introduced to the Change in Mind approach
  • Find out more about our signature Seeds of Change 6 week course for change-makers
  • Ask any questions about what your next step might look like

Who is this event for?

This taster session is for people completely new to mindfulness, people looking to refresh their practice and for people who have meditated before but are interested in learning more about Change in Mind’s tailored approach for social change / change-makers.

About your facilitator

Tess is an accredited mindfulness teacher with Breathworks. She adheres to Breathworks' standards and accesses supervision and ongoing training within the Breathworks and BAMBA community. Her approach is described by previous participants as ‘warm’, ‘inclusive’ and ‘authentic’.

Tess is also an experienced group facilitator for social change and is trained in facilitating the Work That Reconnects. Tess is a research and evaluation consultant in the charity sector.
