Description

At this public talk, open to everyone, Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Gomchen will explain how to enjoy a peaceful and stress-free life through the ancient art of mindfulness and positive thinking.

• Understand the power of your mind to create your experience
• Learn and be guided through simple meditations to increase your peace
• Use the timeless wisdom of Buddhism to transform your life
• Learn about the relationship between meditation & your happiness
• Learn how to apply positive thinking to your own life right now through applying mindfulness

This talk will be followed by two follow-up classes (Note: follow on classes will be on Wednesdays) that aim to help us set up a regular meditation & mindfulness practice.

Wed 25th July – Mindfulness & Meditation

Discover how to begin training in mindfulness in conjunction with meditation to unlock your potential for peace. This class will focus on how we can begin an effective meditation practice and how to gradually make progress.

Wed 1st Aug – Mindfulness on the Move

To receive the full benefits of training in mindfulness, our practice should not be limited only to few minutes of meditation, but something that we integrate into every aspect of our life. This class will explain how we can start to do this and transform every activity into something meaningful.
