Event description

Description

Are you familiar with the practice of mindfulness? Would you like to know what it entails or are you interested in knowing more? Whichever is the case, this session should be for you.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention in a particular way - on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.

Research has shown a number of demonstrable benefits to practicing mindfulness, including improved sleep, reduced stress and improved academic performance. But it can also be immensely helpful, simply by enabling us to cope with life.

In this session our leading mindfulness practitioner, Becky Thoseby, will talk a bit about what mindfulness is, and take you through a few exercises which will give you an idea of what it’s like to practice it. There’ll also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your own experiences.

Please book now (whether you're a beginner or a more experienced student) to share in the benefits of mindfulness.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS FOR DFT EMPLOYEES ONLY.
