Take a break from your desk or from the stress of the day and join us for a calming FREE Mindfulness Meditation Session on the second Tuesday of the month. Taught by Ven Sujan, an experienced Buddhist monk from Nepal.
Mindfulness can help you to:
* relax your body and mind. * deal with stress
* help with sleeping difficulties * improve your health and wellbeing
Through the continued practice a mindfulness, you train your mind to become more present on a day-to-day basis. That makes you more able to recognise internal sensations, as well as thoughts and feelings that arise and be less affected by them. In time, as the practice ripens, you become less attached/repelled by things that are going on internally and therefore, you will feel more relaxed, present, compassionate, less distracted, and with an increased general sense of well-being.
