Bournemouth mindfulness. Open to the public, everyone is welcome. In this month’s introductory seminar we will be exploring the neuroscience of happiness. Mindfulness can help you reduce that constant negative monkey mind chatter that often contributes to stress, anxiety and depression.

The evening will help you enhance creativity, emotional intelligence as well as a sense of wellbeing and happiness. There will be lots of mindfulness practices, discussion as well as plenty of tips for daily living. The relaxed venue is close to sandy beaches and the evening promises not only the opportunity to unwind, but also to learn some simple, life-enhancing mindfulness techniques that you can apply in your daily life.

We teach mindfulness in a secular, practical, psychological, scientific and evidence based way. Mindfulness is an evidence based self-management technique approved by the NHS and endorsed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Mindfulness Courses Bournemouth.

This seminar is delivered by Robert Gebka and Dr Julia Forster.

Robert Gebka is a Qualified MBSR Teacher with the University of California San Diego Medical School, USA. He is former Buddhist monk who lived, worked and trained for five years at the Nan Hua Zen Buddhist monastery before joining the NHS. Dr Julia Forster is a Certified Mindfulness Practitioner with a doctor’s degree in educational psychology. She started her career in mental health nursing during which time she became very interested in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as an empowering tool for those with anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
