Minds & Machines AI Meet-up
By Kerry Harrison
Online event
Overview
You see the opportunities of AI, but you see what we're losing too. This is a meet-up for people who want to find a middle ground together.
I’ve decided I’m craving the company of like-minded AI adventurers.
- People who aren’t AI evangelists OR AI resistors.
- People who won’t pick a side (even though everyone wants you to).
- People who think there’s something valuable in this technology, but also something we need to be really careful about.
- People who think that AI excitement and the AI ethics debates are two sides of the same coin.
- People who are sick of AI trainers and tech bros only giving you the AI advantages – with a token nod to the issues, if you’re lucky.
Is that you?
Starting on the first Monday of 2026, from 12 - 1 pm, I’m opening up a monthly Zoom room for discussions. (Bring your sarnies and a cuppa if you like.)
I’ll come with a question or dilemma and we can break into groups to explore our thoughts/ideas.
I can share where I’ve got to so far, but this isn’t the aim. It’s a chance to share, vent, question and find a way to navigate this middle ground together.
Let's see what we can create from here.
