The Mindset Rx'd Seminar is a proven and tested method to get the best from your mind for life inside and outside the box. It has been used by athletes competing at The CrossFit Games and business high flyers looking to optimise their lives as well as those who have previously felt stuck, stressed and ready for change.


Who is this for?


This workshop is for any functional athlete training to become better tomorrow than they are today. Whether you’re going for Regionals, or just trying to live a happier, healthier life, your mindset will be your limitation right now. Every successful athlete holds a Champ’s Mindset Model and this practical seminar shows you how to create this for yourself.


What do I get/Learn?


What this workshop will deliver is a method for overcoming the mental hurdles between you and your dream goal. If you’re inconsistent in your training, nutrition or mobility, it will help you get rid of those gremlins telling you to take the day off or self-sabotage.


If you find your mind prevents you from pushing hard enough in WODs, it will take you through a unique process for pushing as hard as you possibly can. So the next time you feel the urge to ease off, you will know how to overcome the thoughts which are holding you back. In short, the workshop will teach you to embrace intensity and hardship.


If you are someone who struggles with self-doubt, feeling overwhelmed or want to get a grip on your thoughts, it will show you how to take a step back and see the situation for what it is - meaning you can choose the action that will help you most instead of relying on a default setting. It will be showing you the four mindset models and why one size never fits all when it comes down to mindset. Everyone needs a unique approach and the workshop will show you how to find that. Why Mindset?


Because without it, f*** all else matters. You could have a custom training plan drawn out by Julien Pineau. Nutrition sorted by Robb Wolf and Jason Phillips and your recovery covered by Kelly Starrett and Brian Mackenzie, but if you don’t have the mindset to implement it, and do so with intensity, it means nothing.


When we hold back, in WODs, our mindset is the culprit. When we don’t achieve the goals which mean everything to us, our mindset is almost always the reason. When our cheat days outweigh our good days, we don’t do our mobility, we overtrain, undertrain or we feel so pressured by outside life that we can’t find time to train… it’s mindset which will overcome this.


How long is it?


The workshop is like Daenerys from Game of Thrones (no, there won’t be dragons :( ). On the surface, it’s elegant and slender - in its heart; powerful beyond measure. The 3 hours will impact your training forever after and provide you with the tools to master your inner athlete.


Isn’t mindset coaching just for people who need therapy or who just want to sit around and meditate?


No - the commonality between almost all high level performers in sport, business, relationships and life in general is they understand their mindset and have worked on it (knowingly or not). Sara Sigmundsdottir, Mat Fraser, Annie Thorisdottor, Brent Fikowski, Rich Froning… they’ve all got the mindset of a Champion. Their mindset has facilitated their training to get to that point, kept them on track and allowed them to push hard when others want to quit. Mindset is for A-players and those who have only just started alike.


Who are you?


I’m Tom Foxley and I run Mindset Rx’d; a coaching service for functional athletes of all abilities who want to master their inner athlete. It’s a podcast, coaching service and movement that places mindset where it should be; at the forefront of any goal. After accumulating 10,000 hours of coaching fitness, I found that an athlete’s success (whatever their goals) hinged entirely on their mindset. I began applying the lessons I had learned on mindset in my time in an elite arm of the British Military and through other experiences. Since then, I moved solely into the functional fitness world and have worked with athletes of all abilities on their mindset (from competitors at The CrossFit Games to those who only just stepped foot in a gym after a decade of inactivity) and in all different sports (boxing champions to tactical athletes).


My methods give athletes complete clarity on what they really want and get them achieving things they previously considered unreachable.


In short, I give athletes of all abilities the toolkit to maximise their potential through mastering the Champ’s Mindset. This gives the athlete the ability to achieve whatever they truly desire.


Is it a bunch of tree-hugging and “omm”-ing your way to enlightenment?


If that’s what helps you perform at your best, then yeah, go for it! But for most, it isn’t. It’s a proven, practical strategy steeped in neuroscience and philosophy. This relies on science, not manifestation.
