Barry has an established reputation for his work in the field of learning – especially in the areas of talent and expertise development and intrinsic learning motivation. He has championed the research of Prof Carol Dweck since the early 90s, at a time when the classroom implications of mindset theory were little understood, and he toured with her in 2010, speaking to packed conferences in the UK and Norway. Barry has since toured with and spoken alongside Carol at Mindset Conferences in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
