This free course is for everyone who wants to explore and have discussions about the mind and explore why it behaves the way it does. This course is delivered by experts from Mindspace Perth & Kinross.

Coaches and volunteers give a lot of time to others, and so this is a moment for you.

Perhaps you are struggling with worrying about the future, or have difficult memories from the past? This course can help us understand why our mind behaves the way it does and what we can do to help.

The session will consist of a few exercises and some discussions about the mind, mental health and stigma. By the end, you will have a better understanding of your mind.

It might also help you with a few tips to help you to help others, helping you to create an inclusive and supportive environment within your club.

Who should attend
Anyone involved in a sporting role, coaches, volunteers, participants etc aged 16 years and over. Note the PACES tiers below for free places do not apply to this course. Clubs can register delegates for free until all places are filled.

PACES
All clubs that are accredited through the Perth and Kinross Accredited Club Excellence Scheme (PACES) will receive free spaces on all of Live Active Sport's courses, based on the tiers below:

• Gold: 3 free places per course
• Silver: 2 free places per course
• Bronze: 1 free place per course

Individual Coaching Grants
Our individual coaching grants, funded by The Gannochy Trust, provide financial assistance to help with the payment of national governing body coaching courses. If you live in Perth and Kinross, or coach with a Perth and Kinross club, then you could be eligible to get assistance of up to 75% of the overall course fee (terms and conditions apply).
