Event description

Description

NEW for 2019 - Join #TheBrainyBunch on a mammoth 14 hour adventure from the deepest accessible point in the UK, all the way to the top of Snowdon!

Your day will start at the GoBelow base in Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog. They will kit you up with a harness, wellies, helmet and lamp to begin your instructor-led journey down into the bowels of Snowdonia. You’ll cross ancient bridges, traverse catwalks and miners' stairways to reach a point that is 1,375 vertical feet underground - the very deepest place in the UK accessible to the public.

From the deepest point underground, you’ll climb all the way back up and out of the mine via a different route to the way you came in. Once back in daylight, you'll head over to Pen-y-Gwryd to begin a guided ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales at 3,560 feet!

Whether you're a small group, couple, friends and family or an individual, we'd love to have you on the team!

Registration Fee: £40 | Sponsorship: £395
