Leeds Indie Food is a new, collaborative, independent festival of food and drink culture
running 7-24 May 2015. This event is just one of many running across the city during
A public viewing of the documentary film showing Jiro Dreams of Sushi.
Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) is a film about family and legacy. Jiro Ono is one of the most revered chefs in the world, owner of the Michelin three-star Sukiyabashi Jiro restaurant in Tokyo and, at 85 years-old, is irked that he has yet to achieve what he feels is the prefect sushi dish. Meanwhile, his son Yoshikazu, 50, is feeling the pressure of one day having to succeed his father as head chef.
Festival Passport holders will receive a chance to obtain priority tickets at this event, plus great benefits, discounts and exclusive products at all other participating businesses during #LIF15.
