Event description

Description

Minecraft is an open-world game that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination.

In this workshop, children will be given a set of activities to complete to demonstrate their ability, and a certificate showing their minecraft skills have been recognised.

The details…

  • The workshop is aimed at children aged 9-14, but big kids can come and play too.
  • The cost to attend the workshop is £5.00 for kids and concessions and £7.50 for adults. Alternatively you can book a family ticket (up to 3 kids under 16 and up to 2 adults) by calling the office on 01908 374708.

Prior experience of Minecraft would be beneficial for this workshop but not neccasary. The Museum uses Minecraft:Education Edition so some items may vary from the main game.

This event is part of the "Weekend Bytes" programme at The National Museum of Computing and requires the purchase of an entrance ticket to the museum. All tickets purchased will grant you access to the museum after your workshop.

Please note that this is not a drop off event. Parental supervision is required for the entire duration.
