Mini Beatsts and Mini Ecologists

Key skills for discovering the woodland - how to engage children from the Early Years to Secondary School and encourage them to dicover the wild.


You will learn:

What is ecology and why do we need it?

Where does it fit in the curriculum?

Ways we can use it and waqys we can plan it to become part of the curriculum strategy.

How ecology can play a key part in the development stages of children: emotional, social, mental, physical, resilience and well being.

Mini Beasts - engaging activities and ways of dicovering the wild with children from eqrly years to secondary (including SEN).

Mini Ecologists - engaging activities and ways of developing enquiring minds, ecology skills and STEM focus.

Thinking like a mountain - reflective activities using child centrered philosophy.
