Mini Makers

Mini Makers is our weekly art session for under 5s and their grown-ups to enjoy together. Activities often include painting, collage, printmaking and more, designed each week by our Everyday Team and sometimes guest Artists to encourage self-expression, the development of motor skills and to ultimately have fun! ✨

Mini Makers is also an opportunity for children to develop social skills, whilst making and playing with other similarly aged children. For parents and guardians, it’s a chance to socialise with other parents in a fun and engaging space, without any mess to clean up afterwards!🎨

Here at Everyday we want our sessions to be accessible to everyone. Each week we have 2 free tickets available for those who might be finding it hard to pay. If you are able to pay for your tickets please do so and help us to keep our free tickets for those who need them, so that everyone can enjoy some Everyday creativity! Ticket code: MiniMakersFREE

PLEASE NOTE: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and be willing to participate in some activities. Booking is essential for this event with ONE TICKET required PER CHILD attending. We can offer free places to those who are unable to cover the ticket cost. Please get in touch via hello@everydaywigan.org.uk

REFUND POLICY: If you find you cannot attend the event, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We cannot offer refunds if you cancel within 48 hours of the event taking place.

How to find us:

Everyday is situated in The Old Courts (https://www.theoldcourts.com/) and the session will be held in the Community Room. Please come to entrance 5 and a member of staff will let you in a few minutes before the start time. Don’t worry if you are late! We will check the door periodically if any attendees are missing.

Public Transport: The Old Courts is a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from Wigan Bus Station, a 2 minute walk (0.1 miles) from Wigan Wallgate Railway Station and a 3 minute walk (0.2 miles) from Wigan North Western Railway Station.

Parking: There is room for cars to pick up and drop off just outside The Old Courts on Crawford Street. Parking on Crawford Street is free after 6.30pm and on Sundays.

Nearby car parks include The Grand Arcade (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles), Mona Street Car Park (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles) and Dorning Street Car Park (2 minute walk / 0.2 miles).

Blue badge holders are entitled to park on the single yellow line on Crawford Street during its times of operation for up to 3 hours without charge.
