Mini Writing Retreat

Often the most challenging aspect of thesis writing, or any other writing, is finding the time and space to focus on doing the writing. A writing retreat just means a space away from your normal workplace where you and others get to focus on writing and nothing else.

The LDC Development team host a retreat session for up to 25 people. We all bring our laptops and we write together to get it done. The retreat provides protected and focused academic writing time, and you do the writing. That’s it. We all sit and write together in a room and use peer pressure help us avoid the distractions of email, internet, tea making, paperclip sorting, desk cleaning, lab work, etc etc etc

Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
